Sierra Nevada Wildflowers app for iPhone and iPad

This app is a field guide to wildflowers of the Sierra Nevada. It features 690 photos of 488 species of flowering plants found in Californias Sierra Nevada. Plant descriptions include plant type, appearance, flowering period, habitat, distribution, and links to external pages on the Jepson interchange and CalPhotos.

The user interface is designed to give you multiple ways to quickly find the information you need. You can browse thumbnails arranged by color and family; search based on blooming period, plant type, habitat, name, or keyword; look through the alphabetic index of latin and common name; and save bookmarks for quickly returning to plants youve found.

The app includes an introduction, built-in help, and a glossary.
